For Kayla Larsen, life and art are all about the story. Her colorful drawings are often accompanied by text describing unseen details behind the image. A drawing of a woman becomes an intricate exposé of her makeup or what she had for dinner. These stories are influenced by fashion, pop culture and the goings on in Kayla’s own life and that of her friends.

Kayla is one of our best selling artists. Her work is often featured in our in-house shows as well as group shows throughout the area. She has shown and sold her work at the DOWNrightART Exhibition in New York.

In addition to drawing and painting, Kayla creates items in weaving, clay, wood shop and performing arts. She enjoys earning paychecks from her work.
